plus the registered business name. No signup. Honest: if VIES is down or rate-limits us, you get a
clear "service unavailable", never a fabricated valid.

POST https://facturproof.com/v1/vat/verify returns a signed Ed25519 evidence certificate (add
requester_vat for VIES's official consultation number). Batch and monitoring for a whole
supplier book are on the roadmap.
